Calculate and plot the contour line of the end façade of a building, determine the length of edge of the roof and the area of the end wall.
Instead of trying to calculate the exact area and length, we will approximate the curve with line segments: we divide the connection curve of the roof and the wall (and the wall itself) into small sections and replace the curve by a line segments in each of these sections.
Divide the f the half-span (8.00 m) into n equal segments (10), calculate the yp and yny height values in each position, and always take the higher of the two.
Approximate each curve with a line segments between two adjacent dividing points.

The area under the line segment can be considered a trapezoid whose ∆ter area can be calculated:
These elementary lengths and areas are calculated for each section and summed for all sections.
Complete the x and yk columns with three coordinate values in order to draw the right vertical line, the baseline, and the left vertical line.
