The Basilica of Superga is a church at the top of the hill of Superga. I choose this amazing church because it was designed by Filippo Juvarra, one of the most important italian architects of the Baroque, and also because this building is one of the symbols of my city, Turin.
The Barcelona Pavilion, designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, was the German Pavilion for the 1929 International Exposition in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. It is an important building in the history of modern architecture, known for its simple form and its spectacular use of extravagant materials, such as marble, red onyx and travertine. I chose this building because when it is one of the most emotional architecture I have ever experienced in my life.
