Simple Model: CCTV BUILDING, By OMA

The CCTV Headquarters in Beijing, is located in the heart of the business district. Designed by Rem Koolhaas, and Ole Scheeren it was finished in 2012 and has become an essential part of the Beijing Skyline. I have choosen to place this 234m high building in a sarcastic context, In the Center of Budapest. I have done a mixture of rederings, simple autocad exported rendering, as for the requirements of this course, but i have also placed it all in context and merged real life images with the exported autocad rendering to generate a more realistic visual. The budapest by night has been retouched on photoshop after export of render, However the Bupapest by day has not been retouched and has just been placed into a background directly from autocad.

Complex Model: Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore

The Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore, is the catherdral in florence, Italy. It started construction in 1296 ina gothic stle. The exterior of the Duomo has a polychrome marble panels. It is one of the largest churches, and until the modern era, the dome was one of the largets in the world, Having said that is remains the largest brick dome ever constructed. I have chosen to render is building in the color of the material used, with the ornamented facades and patterns found upon it.
