The ancient Umayyad Mosque of Aleppo,dating back to the 12th century seen in 2010 before the war, is said to be home to the remains of Zechariah, the father of John the Baptist.
Unfortunatly Allepo, has suffered immeasurable damage earning it the title of “Syria’s most war-torn city”.
The model is a part in the courtyard of the mosque, it is a fountain to showering which muslems use to preapare themselves for praying.

The Dome of the Rock is an Islamic shrine located on the Temple Mount in the Old City of Jerusalem. It was initially completed in 691 CE at the order of Umayyad Caliph , built on the site of the Roman temple of Jupiter Capitolinus. The original dome collapsed in 1015 and was rebuilt in 1022–23. The Dome of the Rock is in its core one of the oldest extant works of Islamic architecture. UNESCO World Heritage Site. Architectural style- Umayyad, Abbasid, Ottoman.
