Budapesti Jézus Szíve Templom
The Budapest VIII. district Horánszky street 18-22. The building at number 188 was built in 1888–1891 according to the plans of József Kauser and Gyula Kauser in a neo-Romanesque but also Gothic style with church and noble contributions. Its exterior is covered with characteristic red bricks. The church was consecrated only in 1909, and until the socialist takeover after 1945, this building was the center of Jesuit life in Budapest. After the fall of socialism in 1989, it was restored by the Jesuit order.
