The Cathedral of Palma, also known as La Seu, is a stunning example of Gothic architecture located in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. Built between the 13th and 17th centuries, it is famous for its tall columns, impressive rose window, and its location overlooking the sea. Modeling La Seu in AutoCAD has helped me develop skills in precision drawing, working with 3D solids and surfaces, and interpreting architectural details from reference images and floor plans. This project allowed me to combine my hometown with technical CAD design, making it a creative experience.
Modeling the Blue Mosque in AutoCAD allowed me to explore one of the most iconic examples of Ottoman architecture. Located in Istanbul, the mosque is known for its grand domes, six minarets, and detailed tilework. Recreating it in 3D helped me improve my skills in working with complex curves, domes, and symmetrical structures. It also challenged me to pay attention to architectural balance and detail, using reference images and floor plans.
