Digital Representation

Planes-Chapelle

The aim of the course is to introduce the theoretical and practical foundations of CAD systems. The exercises are related to the fields of geometry and architectural history, and present two-dimensional drawing and three-dimensional modeling shapes that are often used in architecture – practicing the reconstruction of three-dimensional shapes based on their two-dimensional projections. In addition, the subject provides insight into the effective use of IT tools and the representation of functions and data in the context of engineering problem solving and algorithmic thinking.
