Course Description

Fundamentals of vector graphics, two-dimensional (2D), and three-dimensional (3D) Computer Aided Design (CAD) systems. Application of Cartesian and polar coordinate systems. CAD principles from simple 2D drafting to the developing of architectural drawings with the use of layers and library elements (blocks). 3D modelling of geometrical shapes and architectural details.

• Submission: Homework 1   | Homework 2   | Homework 3
Submit a unique excercise (your own design) which is similar to the test examples (e.g. in coplexity).
• the DWG file should contain the 2D plan or the 3D model and its proper documentation.
• the PDF file should contain the printed version of the documentation (using 1:100 scale).
• deadline: the day of the corresponding test, 10:00 AM.
